Jane began her career in the FMCG sector working with Kenya Co-operative Creameries and Farmers Choice, prior to joining Cadburys as Brand Manager.
Working within several departments including Brand Management, Factory Manager and Operations Director, gave her the skills to enable her to take the helm of Cadburys - initially for Kenya and then East and Central Africa.

She began her professional career with household and foods multi-national Unilever – then East Africa Industries Ltd after completion of her undergraduate degree. She spent 15 years in the business working in various capacities and different countries culminating in her role as the Marketing Director, for the East African Business. After leaving Unilever in January 2005, she joined the leading alcoholic beverage company East African Breweries Ltd in February 2005 as the Marketing Director. She held this role for 3 years before being appointed Managing Director – EABL Venture, a new business unit set up to drive growth of the Spirits Portfolio and expansion into the Great Lakes Region. She has the unique opportunity of holding a second portfolio within the EABL group as she also acts as the Managing Director for Uganda Breweries Ltd.
