She spent 15 years in the business working in various capacities and different countries culminating in her role as the Marketing Director, for the East African Business. After leaving Unilever in January 2005, she joined the leading alcoholic beverage company East African Breweries Ltd in February 2005 as the Marketing Director. She held this role for 3 years before being appointed Managing Director – EABL Venture, a new business unit set up to drive growth of the Spirits Portfolio and expansion into the Great Lakes Region.
